Volunteers clean road

The well-traveled stretch of County Highway 24 from County 7 to Jewel Drive is much cleaner thanks to Big Mantrap Lake Association volunteers who turned out Sept. 19 for the fall Adopt-a-Highway cleanup.

Fall cleanup volunteers were: Deb Topp, Cindy Condiff, Kate Pierson, Barb and Burney Fischer, and Jim and Linda Zawacki. This is the third year that the BLMA has been responsible for cleaning this stretch of County 24. BMLA volunteers gather and bag litter in ditches along the route in spring and fall. Linda Zawacki coordinates our Adopt-a-Highway project.
